CMD Training Institute is one of Ireland’s leading training providers and employs up to forty trainers at peak times. Managed by its CEO, Brenda Crowley, the Institute delivers training solutions to corporate clients, state agencies, community groups and private individuals throughout Ireland.
Established since 1994, CMD moved to its new state-of-the-art training rooms in The Gateway Building, Northwest Business Park, Collooney, in April of this year. This 590m² modern building is finished to the highest standards, with state-of-the-art equipment. The facility includes a Resource Library, fully fitted IT suite and 4 large training rooms complete with interactive white boards and video conferencing facilities. It is serviced with a modern canteen and administrative offices. The new centre can cater for groups of up to 140 people for meetings, training events and conferences.
A variety of programmes are available each month and learners can receive qualifications up to level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications. CMD Training Institute is Quality Assured by FETAC, ILM – Institute of Leadership and Management and City & Guilds. It is a FAS registered Training Organisation and approved Trainers for the Irish Institute of Training & Development.
Collooney was chosen by the CMD Group because it is ideally situated in Co. Sligo providing easy access to the national transport corridor - it is located along the major artery route to Dublin (N4), Galway/Mayo/Roscommon (N17) and Donegal (N15). It has free car parking capacity for 65 cars. Main line rail and commuter access is at the nearby Collooney station.
